Safety comes first
Hespr is built to support real-world connection while giving people control, privacy, and ways to report misuse.
You control when you appear
Hespr is designed so users control when they are visible at a venue. The app is about showing up in the moment, not broadcasting your every move.
Built around venues, not following you around
Hespr is intended to reflect venue presence, not expose someone’s private movements or home location. Best case, Hespr notices someone left and ends visibility there quickly. Worst case, they may stay pinned at the venue they already left for up to 60 minutes, but Hespr is not meant to follow them to the next place or home.
What happens if you forget to check out?
Best Case+
Your phone will detect you left and remove visibility.
Worst Case+
You may still appear at that venue for up to 60 minutes after you leave.
Never Case+
Being shown on your ride home or other venues. Your location is only tied to the public venue you choose to go visible at.
Report behavior that feels wrong
Users can report misleading, harassing, unsafe, or abusive behavior. Hespr can review reports, restrict accounts, and remove access where needed.
Report someone even without their profile
If you do not have someone’s profile, you can still send a report. Share the venue, time, what they were wearing, what happened, and any other identifying details. Hespr can investigate and ban the account if appropriate.
- Go to Profile
- Open Safety
- Open Safety Center
- Tap Report Someone
Venue data is reviewed and protected
Venue suggestions, event suggestions, and contributor activity are subject to rules and review. Misleading edits, false claims, or attempts to take over someone else’s venue presence can lead to removal of contributor privileges.
